IPP - integrated product policy - instruments from practice using the automobile as an example
In the course of this motor vehicle pilot project the new concept of IPP has been put into practice for the first time. Using the motor vehicle as an example of a highly complex product, process sequences typical for IPP were conceived. The results have been recorded as a set of guidelines which give an overview of typical IPP structures, methods and instruments and also provide valuable practical information which can be transferred to other branches of industry. The main interest of the project lay in defining new potential for innovation as well as cost reduction. This can be achieved through an intensive exchange of information and close co-operation between the stakeholders with regard to testing IPP compatible performance throughout the complete product life cycle.Herausgeber | : | Bay.
